Her forthcoming album, Story’s End, unfolds like a hazy, widescreen narrative, with each song acting as a chapter tracing love, loss, fracture, and the quiet search for solace in the aftermath. Written over several years and shaped by profound personal upheaval, the record finds Taylor expanding the signature elements of her work — bell-like piano, sweeping strings, and intimate lyricism — into something more nuanced, expansive, and ultimately life-affirming. Recorded between her California home studio and ARC Studios in Omaha, Story’s End features collaborations with Mike Mogis, Ben Brodin, Brad Armstrong, Conor Oberst, Nate Walcott, and others. The album gradually arrives at a fragile but powerful sense of transformation and hope.
