Papa Jupe’s T.C

“Papa Jupe’s T.C. drench post-punk in sleazy surf rock. The Cardiff 6-piece’s dark-humoured lyrics lampoon masculinity, politics, and power.”

FFO: Fat White Family, Warmduscher, Viagra Boys, The B52’s, The Fall

“I loved everything about this band when I saw this.” - Amy Lamé, BBC Radio 6 Music

“If you wanted to know what it would sound like if The B-52s were to mate with Fat White Family and have children that they just left to play in primaeval sludge of illegal substances then that might well be the outcome.” - Adam Walton, BBC Radio Wales

HEADCHECK

Cam Redmond, Ned Newman, Isaac Proctor and Maddox Knight blend genres wielding an innovative and modern alternative rock sound infused with an essence of 90’s britpop whilst paying homage to everything in between. Formed in the sleepy town of Newmarket in the summer of 2023 when they were all 17 years old, a string of relentless live shows and the release of debut single Hemingford Grey saw HEADCHECK become one of the must see acts of the region, leading to the teenagers sharing the stage with some of the most exciting acts in the country and working with award winning artist and producer Jordan Cardy (RAT BOY) to bring their second single The Journalist to life. Now as a 5 piece for the first time, HEADCHECK return with their self produced third single ‘The Stairs’.

NO TV - NO TV are here for a good time, not a long time, and are a bit like a Punk-Rock pizza with all the toppings...

Pounding disco drums are the meat feast, while the tangy bass & razor-sharp guitar make up the melodic sauce. It’s then all garnished with burning lyrical chilli flakes, and a secret synth seasoning. The band from Margate in Kent, are on a mission to bring their slogan “Modern Life & Dancing” to the masses, inhabiting that under-populated area of the Venn diagram where Dance & Rock worlds collide. Since their 2023 live show debut at Justine’s in Margate (owned by Carl Barât of The Libertines) the band have been making noise in venues all over Kent and beyond, including support slots with artists like Art Brut, Aircooled (featuring members of Suede & Jesus and Mary Chain), Japanese Television & Alien Chicks

For Fans Of / Influences: Warmduscher, Viagra Boys, LCD Soundsystem, Adult DVD, Talking Heads, DEVO, Klaxons, The Cribs, Gossip, IDLES

Ravenous Hounds - Mutant groove / punk rock noise / experimental cinematic. Synth-drenched double baritone guitars, electric fuzz and intricate rhythms. High energy, high intensity and high volume.
