Family Stereo

Family Stereo is the moniker of London based singer-songwriter Blake Watt. Inspired by the likes of Elliott Smith, Adrianne Lenker and Neil Young, his sound is rooted in indie-folk and folk-rock. Starting out in 2018 as his solo project, he garnered early support from John Kennedy (Radio X), Chris Hawkins (BBC 6Music) and KCRW in Santa Monica. Very much part of the London gig circuit, they’ve headlined venues such as the Windmill Brixton and Shacklewell Arms (promoted by Eat Your Own Ears) and recently debuted in Stockholm, Gothenburg and Paris (promoted by SUPER!). In June of this year they released their second EP 'Sometimes The Morning Is Different'.

Caroline Trettine

Caroline Trettine, a former singer-writer with The Blue Aeroplanes, achieved cult success with her record ‘Be a Devil’ in the 1990s, on Billy Bragg’s ‘Utility’ label, managed by the legendary Pete Jenner. She has since had an eclectic journey through music e.g. songs, beats, strings, musicals, rock, folk and poetry. Compared to Sandy Denny when she was young, she has acquired the smoky edges of Lotte Lenya, a grown-up artist, performing authentic unplugged folk-cabaret. Writing for orchestras, synths, indie bands, fusion etc. makes her composing styles varied, drawing from her capacious musical imagination…

Matu

Born in the wilds of Patagonia, Argentina, and now making waves in the vibrant music scene of London. Matu is a singer-songwriter with a truly international background, with roots tracing back to Ireland, the Netherlands, and Italy. Embracing the essence of alternative folk, Matu crafts songs that delve into personal experiences with introspective lyrics and stirring melodies.

Recently awarded a grant from Help Musicians, Matu is gearing up to release his highly anticipated upcoming EP.
