The Mink
The Mink leapt from the primordial soup of East Anglia’s music scene in late 2022 as a collective of multi-instrumentalists wielding jazz-infused psychedelia with hooky vocals and wailing guitar solos. Think Tame Impala if they’d been kept in a tent and fed acid for several months. 2023 saw the band secure support slots for major touring bands such as KEXP-endorsed MADMADMAD, Karma Sheen and Flat Party.
Espuma
Espuma, which means the head of a beer in Spanish, is a three-piece psychedelic rock band with a strong cumbia influence based in London. The songs use a colourful blend of effects to create kaleidoscopic guitar tones embroidered with tropical Latin rhythms and lyrics about acid trips and heatwaves, while at times playing with a frenetic energy usually seen in punk. Written in English and Spanish, Espuma's songs grew from a fascination of Peruvian chicha - the Andean country’s 1960s mix of Colombian cumbia, indigenous huayno and Western surf and psychedelia.
Drum Tower
Melding influences from post rock, math rock, post punk and psychedelia, Drum Tower produce bleak pop music for a hyperreal age.
