About the event

Lineup:

  • School Disco
  • FEZ
  • Square Wave

School Disco

Formed in 2016 in Brighton, School Disco has quickly established themselves as a dynamic presence in the indie rock scene, drawing on influences from iconic bands like Black Sabbath and CAN, with lyrics steeped in sci-fi and the eerie realms of HP Lovecraft. The band features Rory Lethbridge on vocals and guitar, Elliot Standford on guitar, vocals, and keys, Laur Underwood on bass, Harry Heyes on drums, and Tim Girdler on studio bass.

With a history of energetic performances and sharing stages with acts like Wolf Alice, School Disco has also garnered acclaim from BBC Introducing and Spotify. Known for their gritty garage blues fused with 60s psychedelic pop

FEZ

London based five-piece FEZ crafts a blend of psychedelia and progressive rock that doesn't simply embrace nostalgia for a bygone era of music, but reinterprets its essence through a modern lens. 2024 has been a great year for the band so far. They've played support slots for international bands Austin TV and Mujeres, and have plans to launch new music in the second half of the year. A force to be reckoned with, you definitely do not want to miss their hypnotizing live performance! Formed by Rollo Ellison, Mischa Dhar, Zak de la Bedoyere, Lewis Rennie-Campbell, and Ed Wing.

Square Wave

UK Alternative Rock trio Square Wave create the sounds of a hypnotic dream before shattering the atmosphere and blasting back to earth in a shuttle of fuzz-filled ecstasy. Not shy of tackling sensitive and personal subjects under a violet hued veil of phantasmagoria and otherworldly activity, Square Wave's tracks offer an insight into what it's like to live as an outsider in times of social pressure and alienation. Taking inspiration from 90s Shoegaze and 60s Psychedelia, they wear their influences on their sleeve whilst simultaneously carving a square space for themselves in the once round hole that was the mainstream.
