The Dirty English
"They sound like they've just stumbled out of a rave at 4 in the morning" Amy Lame, BBC Radio "A chaotic bundle of style, substance and swagger" – Gigslutz
The Dirty English are an East London five-piece that make a brand of music best described as post punk if was placed in the back pocket of your jeans and placed on a medium wash for 59 minutes.
Apollo Bleu
Introducing, Apollo Bleu, 4 piece indie rock band in pursuit of art and music in spite of the nine to five. Born out of the same town as the Rolling Stones and out to create their own legacy, the young band set out to do things the old way. No nonsense guitar sounds, thumping drums and big hooky melodies. The band deal in summertime nostalgia, hints of darkness and sounds you want to jump to. With a growing community where everyone looks after each other and the time spent together is as important as the music itself. Apollo Bleu and it’s mad army have been creating a noise around London and have already packed out notorious venues such as Camden Assembly and the 02 Academy Islington. A working class bunch to their core, introducing Liam Phillips as lead singer. Jack Leigh, lead guitarist. Megan Mayes, bassist. Dan Williams, drummer. A group of young musicians in this for the journey. The music speaks for itself, the gigs packed full of energy. Apollo Bleu are a must see. A nine to five’s alright, but it’s not what we want.
Carmine Nights
Carmine Nights are a rock duo from London consisting of guitarist/vocalist Tom Welsh and drummer Jonny Harper. The band was formed in 2022 after years of informal jamming in a former warehouse in Peckham. Their debut self-titled EP, released in December 2022, captures the raucous and chaotic spirit of these sessions. Welsh’s cryptic vocals are scored by pounding drums, huge guitar riffs, and backing vocal harmonies across a series of raw, up-tempo tracks inspired by the likes of Queens of the Stone Age, Royal Blood, Arctic Monkeys, and Foals.
