About the event
An intimate evening of electrifying indie and alt-jazz from London + Edinburgh.
Established in London, Duck Wax is a diverse 5-piece ensemble known for their unique blend of alt-funk-rock-jazz. The band, featuring the rhythmic talents of drummer Luke Gordon, bassist Lord Archibald, guitarists Hector Lindsay and Jacob Gartside, and saxophonist Augustus Lindsay, is committed to fostering a sustainable music industry. Amidst their drive for change, their funk-fueled passion remains undiminished.
Waverley fuse americana inspired indie rock with folk-rooted songwriting. Founded on fierce dynamic shifts and dualling vocals, they have cultivated a sound that is distinct from any one genre.
The band’s third single ‘Shore’ cemented their folk-rooted direction, while expanding upon their already diverse musical palette. Their debut EP is expected in the summer of 2023 and will cap an already busy year with multiple shows across the country.
Yeehaw. Trying to mine out some good songs from where 90s Indie, Folk and Alt-Country meet. Welsh roots, but based out of North London, pull up a chair and have a listen.
