MOTORISTS

Featuring members of Feel Alright, Leather Jacuzzi, and Tough Age, the Toronto's trio play a clean style of college rock, writing songs about frustration and mundanity. This tension is central to Motorists’ debut LP, Surrounded, mastered by Australian punk legend Mikey Young (Eddy Current Suppression Ring, Total Control), released last year on Bobo Integral, We Are Time and Debt Offensive Records - and featured on SPIN, Brooklyn Vegan, Bandcamp Daily, Exclaim, etc.

Super catchy tunes pushing jangly guitars, infectious power pop hooks and a steady motorik beat! Their music takes us into a classic raw college radio sound from the 80’s. Their debut LP Surrounded - mastered by Australian punk legend Mikey Young (Eddy Current Suppression Ring, Total Control) and released on Bobo Integral, We Are Time and Debt Offensive Records. In April 2023, Motorists successfully toured the EU/UK for the very first time, featuring headline shows at well-known venues in London, Paris, Madrid, Barcelona, Manchester, Bristol, Liverpool, ++.

» "(...) jangle pop wonders" Exclaim

» (...)  hooky and dynamic tunes" Bandcamp Daily

» "(...) rock and roll that explodes when held too tight, designed to do exactly that" SPIN

» "There's a little early-'80s powerpop precision, mid-'80s paisley underground psychedelica and the post-REM janglepop explosion, as well as '90s college rock, the Hallifax indie scene, Britpop and beyond" Brooklyn Vegan

Coming Up Roses

Hailing from the island nation of Singapore, London-based indie/alt rock band Coming Up Roses forge a sound that is distinctively familiar - yet you can’t quite put your finger on.  Led by singer-bassist Emily Sera, the group has emerged as one of the most promising acts out of Southeast Asia owing to their dynamic live shows and heartfelt lyrical themes. In addition to tours in Taiwan and Indonesia, the band have played festivals such as Canadian Music Week, Fred Perry Subculture and The Alex Blake Charlie Sessions. To date, the band has released 2 EPs, debut effort Waters (2019) and sophomore EP Everything Is (2022).  Their third, self-titled EP is pencilled in for release on 5th April 2024, preceded by the release of singles ‘Don’t Let It Break Your Heart’ and ‘Back The Way We Came’.  “Pummelling guitar-driven crescendo” - NME "A veritable dream-pop explosion, a soaring slice of shoegaze heaven swirling with the ethereal vibes of Slowdive fronted by Dolores O’Riordan" - The VPME "Chiming guitars, heartstopping indie melodies" - Backseat Mafia

FUTURE BABY

Born as 2 in London then grown to 5 in Brighton, FUTURE BABY is a Rock project with goals of exciting Modern Rock back into its former glory. With influence and inspiration spanning as far as Radiohead to Talking Heads, there’s nowhere the band won’t go in discovering something new.

Finish Flag

Finish Flag is the project of multi instrumentalist and songwriter Dexter Bush. The project began with the bubbling electronic pop of ‘Hey Also I Love You’, before morphing into a four piece for the grunge-inflected indie rock of 2020’s ‘Swimming Pools’, produced by Rich Mandell (Happy Accidents, Me Rex). His upcoming album ‘Shelf Life’ encompasses folk, electronics and country.
